Nikki Calliste (she/her) is the founder and lead of Hamer Consulting, LLC. Trindadian born and Brooklyn bred, Nikki deeply believes in the power of wholistic support to foster positive growth and enact meaningful change.
Prior to launching the firm, Nikki was a dedicated educator with over 25 years of experience. She successfully worked her way through many diverse roles, including Teacher, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal. Her administrative appointments – first as a Director of Youth Development and later, as a Director of Attendance Policy and Planning, deepened her knowledge of dynamic leadership and sustainable systems development.
Nikki holds a Bachelor's Degree from SUNY College at Buffalo (now Buffalo University) and a Master's Degree from NYU where she was a Levin Fellow. She received her certification as a School Administrator from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Currently, she is an active board member at an educational non-profit organization.
Nikki’s other full-time job is being the mom of a middle schooler and in the limited downtime that leaves her, she enjoys creating and testing recipes, and reading Black novels.
